Phone us

All non-urgent telephone calls to the police should be routed through our central switchboard number - 01473 613500. Your call will be charged at local rate.

In an emergency dial 999. You should dial 999 when life is threatened or people are injured, or of there is a crime in progress or an immediate police response is necessary.

It is better to be safe than sorry.

IF IN DOUBT DIAL 999

Minicom users should dial 01473 611160 (please note, this number is for those with hearing difficulties).

Calls may be monitored for quality control, security and training purposes.

Please note, telephone calls relating to noise or abandoned vehicles should be directed to the appropriate department of your local district or borough council.

You can also report a noise or an abandoned vehicle problem online using the report a problem facility on the onesuffolk website - opens in a new window. This is a partnership site involving the police, local, borough and district councils.
